I've been working in putting together a TPI system for my 327. My brother called me tonight and told me that he found a late model LT1 complete with the harness, computer & transmission for $900. He needs a tranny for his '68 and wanted to know if I wanted to split the cost. That would be a complete engine, harness & computer for $450! Now I have to decide whether to keep working on the 327 or scrap those plans for the LT-1. I'm sure that I could sell my engine & TPI setup and make a profit, the question is do I really want to. I'm thinking that the late model stuff might be the way to go.
