Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 13 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 13 | Can someone tell me if there is a way to repair the window regulator and interior door handle on my truck? The Window handle tines are stripped as well as the door handles'. It is not the actual handle I am concerned about but the mechanism on the door. I found a repair kit for the window for models 49-50 and then the year picked back up in 55. I asked ClassicParts.com if '51 was just not listed but they said all they sold was what was listed. I really do not want to buy an entire regulator. I found a reasonably priced door mechanism but if anyone knows of a trick of the trade or a place to buy the necessary parts I would be grateful. Thanks in advance for your guidance, this is my first classic and I have learned so much from all the members of Stovebolt. | | |
