I had an extra set of rectangular 1968 Camaro/Firebird mirrors that I had forgotten I bought years ago. They're brand new. I already replaced my Firebird mirrors, so I decided to try to use this on my AD truck. If I put them on the doors, I'll mount them just behind the vent windows. But I might look at maybe mounting them on the body just in front of the doors, so that everytime I slam the door, I don't change my mirror setting.
Anyway, something like that looks nice and is symmetrical, if you need another idea. Unfortunately, this is a really nasty winter, and I am not so patiently waiting for spring to do a lot of this tinkering.
