Thought this site if for inline sixes, you may be biting of more than you really want to chew. Its not as easy as all that. As mentioned cam lift nees to be checked, head breathability and configuration though Vortec heads do help. Going to cost a fair amount of money to do it right. Might just buy a 383 stroker motor and install it. Or`get a crate 330 hp motor from the dealer. You'll like it and its easier than trying to convert, beleive me I know. A lot less headaches. Just a suggestion.
