My suggestion would be a 2006 or newer Vortec 4200 (295hp), custom flywheel, Vortec 3500 5-speed, and have Westers Garage re-program the ECM. then you have 5 wires to hook up. Battery, Ignition, crank, fuelpump.

Then again if you are going to build the 215, there are easy ways with a crank change from a 340 to get 300 cubes out of this little engine.
