I assume you have the one barrel Rochester "Leakmeister Special" for a carb. More than likely the problem lies in the carb, which is next to impossible to seal properly.
If your fuel line is all steel tube from the tank to the carb, you probably don't have a problem there. If the steel tube is spliced to rubber hose, there's a good chance for a leak. If so, get some Permatex Hylomar sealant (gasoline compatible) and seal the connections.
