the parts are available at any of the repro vendors, like American Classic or Jim Carter [see links page] and it definitely doesn't take a "professional" to install or adjust, just someone who knows which end of a screwdriver is the handle - while you're ordering parts, get the TF shop manual, will answer most all your maint questions .... and hate it or not, frequently slamming is the only way these doors work
