I know this gets ask almost to much,but I tried searching and couldn't find anything.A friend of mine is getting a 54 chevy 1/2 ton pickup,5 window,short bed I think,and he said there was somthing different about the bed on it,only made one year?Body is fare but will need work,the whole truck is there,engine, 4 speed floor shift tranny,with the remnents of a three on the tree,bad thing is no title.What it is,is he offered it to me ,and i'm thinking of trying to get it for my dad.He hasn't got it home yet so I haven't even seen it yet but what he was telling me of it the truck sounds like it isn't a rust bucket.What I would like to know is what these trucks go for unrestored,so I have a idea what to offer him for it.
