Thanks for the advise, Dave. I wasn't aware that a 160 thermostat would make that muich of a difference, but it stands to reason. I had a Dodge a few years ago that wouldn't heat to optimum temp and condensation build-up trashed the engine over time. I will change it out to a 180 now that I know the problem is solved.
