I'll have to use these (Triangle Spring #22-184) shipped from Benz Spring in Portland, Ore.. But I did not get what I wanted-an oem new spring. Perhaps I could salvage some clips from old worn cores, to maintain original look. But there is no way to rivet the clips to the leaf like the original.
Just like eBay, you have to ask the questions first, even with seemingly top quality Spring makers and vendors.
What is involved in the re-arch process? Do they bend 'em cold, then reheat and quench in oil to re-temper? Let me know and how much that costs, in addition to new mainleafs which have worn, egged eyes.
