Sometimes my 3 speed will "hang" or get stuck in between 2nd and 3rd gear, and then I have to get out and pull the linkage up and then I'm good to go. If I pull the gear shifter back to me real quick in between shifts the truck will shift so smooth it feels like an automatic. Maybe it is worn in but almost worn out
