Has anyone here removed a 235 engine with the original Hydra-Matic transmission attached (and the cab still on the chassis)?

As Stuart stated above, ". . . a Hydra-matic is a beastly heavy tranny to say the least." It is about 140 lbs heavier than a 3-speed (over 70 lbs heaver than a 4-speed), besides being about 5 inches longer.

There is no bell-housing and I do not think that there are useful bolting-points on the torus cover/housing.

Did you pull the engine/transmission last weekend? Did you pull them together?
