| | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 84 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 84 | I have finally re-united the cab and body on my '66 Fleetside today and I am disappointed with the closeness of the gap as it appears to be only about 1 inch.
Now, I was careful to tag and document the crossmembers so I know they were in the correct places and all the frame holes lined up when I eased the bed down.
My question is how do I improve this gap? While I didn't measure, I recall this gap to be maybe more like 2 inches.
