For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 224 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2003 Posts: 224 | 65 c-10 swb. i want to upgrade from my standard 3 speed manual transmission to the fully synchronized saginaw 3 speed used in the 67-72 c-10s. i know the tranny is longer and some cross member as well as drive line modifications are in order.
but heres the catch....
i still want to keep the column shift setup. has this ever been attempted? is it at all possible? I know the simplest way around this type of an add on is to cut up my floor and throw in a floor shift, but thats too easy isn't it? any experience in this arena? | | |
