To my knowledge there is no actual seal where the input shaft (clutch gear) enters the case. There is a slinger to keep oil from running out but no mechanical seal. The retainer has a thin paper gasket under it, but I think that's it.
If the transmission is over-filled and the truck is parked nose down on a slope it could leak. It would probably leak out of the bellhousing area...the pan that covers the clutch/pressure plate.
I think this is how it works.
