| | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 397 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 397 | I've got a '46 and the stock steering use to be sloppy due to lack of proper maintanance. I tightened up the sector gear to remove most of the steering wheel play and added grease to the steering box. After doing this good steering control plus ease of steering for this period/age of truck returned along with peace of mind. Having a truck wandering all over the road is a bit unsettling to say the least.
