In my 49 Chevy the thermostatic valve seals went and leaked antifreeze all over my flooring in it. I have replaced the valve and now am in the process of trying to figure what to clean it with. Its is a car first off secondly its is some type of frail rubber where it has been stained the most. I tryed mild soap and water no go so far. Wondering if you have anything ideas how to clean it with out destroying the flooring. The entire interior of the car is orginal and in near mint condition accept the flooring and I would like to keep it that way.
Also what do you use to detail the rest of the interior. I kinda of hestitate using alot of cleaners. To afraid that it will damage the car. Any advice?
