Yep, You'll see a "GMC Service Parts Idetification Plate". attached to the back of any '47-'55 400 series, & larger GMC Truck glove box lid. Stamped to the right of this plate will be, Trans. Make: Clark, Type: 205V, or 207V, Speed 5DD. If it's a overdrive, it may say, Type: 207VO, Speed: 5OD. Got any pictures of your trucks posted anywhere.
