The old cylinder was totally trash so I purchased a new one.
The only problem that I see is the old one had a rubber boot from the back of the cylinder mount and through the firewall.
This was torn, but the new cylinder does not have one.
Is this necessary? Any safety issues without it?
I have smoothed up the pedal push rod so it's ready to go back together except this question.
