That sounds very odd but anything is possible.
The 1954 Suburban had Maroon seat frames and the seat covers were maroon cushion-sides and gray cushion-tops.

The 1947-53 Suburban seat frames were brown. I only have one 55-1st document and I will see if there is any interior color info in it.

I checked my paint colors Tech Tip and it has conflicting information for 1955-1st. I must have found conflicting information in different documents - Peal Beige (and Brown) might well have been used in 1955-1st Suburbans. I'll see if I can find the original document(s).
