I also keep all receipts but also keep a running tab on my PC, right down to the penny. It's too easy to keep spending $$ unless you know where you are. And, in the interest of full disclosure, my wife also knows how much I've spent. I can think of a long list of items I "need" for my truck, but knowing what I've already got in it keeps things in check for me.
