I was hoping to only use the rattle can primer to keep from rust that would happen before I got it to paint. I am not set up to where I can paint my rig, but can sand/primer in order to lower the cost of a professional paint and body shop. I do not plan on driving or even getting rained on with the rattle can primer; just sit in the garage a couple of months before she goes to paint. Is the rattle can primer something they will sand off before paint anyways? Am I wasting my time with it all together?
