My '50 4 speed had the smaller clutch, so I used the '62 clutch when I installed my 261. It has an 11" clutch. If you have the 10-3/4" clutch, use it so you can use your starter. If you have the small clutch, you can do like I did and mix and match parts to fit your 62 clutch into the 216 bellhousing. I ended up using a clutch fork out of a '57 bellhousing and a short throwout bearing. I milled the flywheel to accept a 216 ring gear, although you could just use a 12 volt starter instead. It all fit fine, although it was a bit of a pain to get it all stuffed in there. The 10-3/4" clutch should be a piece of cake.
