Good morning. I've got just a minute so I'm going to throw this out and see what you say before going to work. Just putting the finishing touches on a frame off rebuild of a 1964 C-10 and have a problem with the accuracy (or lack of) of the water temp and fuel gauges.
What is the proper sending unit for the factory temp gauge? What is the ohm rating (0-90?) of the factory fuel gauge? And finally, did GM use a voltage regulator to drop the voltage (5 volt or 5-7 volt) to these gauges? I've been told they did but can find no regulator or even a reference in my manuals.
