Your idle jets may be too lean or the float level too low. Back the idle jets out about 1 turn. Than slowly turn 1 in till the engine slows down. Back it out about 1/2 turn to where it idles faster. Repeat with other screw. If that doesn,t do it pull the top off the carb & check the float level & blow out the idle are passages.
