I have a '66 with original 283 SBC. When I rebuilt the motor, I changed the oil pump. Back in the day I remember oil pressures being in the range of 15 or 20 pounds. After I finished the rebuild and put it on my neihgbor's dyno, the pressure in now like 45.
Will this ruin or max out my stock gauge? I have the small copper line running from the back of the engine to the dash gauge.
Just wondering befor I start it.
