I just soak the steering wheel with penetrating fluid,PB Blaster/WD 40. Loosen the nut but leave it on covering the threads, get a helper, one sit in the seat an pull on the wheel near the spokes and have your helper smack the nut with a soft/brass hammer. Have had most pop off, Leave the nut on to save end of threads and your teeth!! Good luck
