I'm a newbie to this group! Wanted to intro myself.
Been playng with old trucks and cars since I was a kid. Have had several Rod's and a few stockers over the years.
2 years ago I picked up a 41 Chevy 3/4 ton truck. Has the 216, 4 speed, flatbed. Been trying to get it roadworthy since I brought it home. Rewired the whole truck, added turn signals, tuned the engine, almost have the interior completed.
Still alot of work yet to get her on the road. Brakes, newer rearend, modern 4 speed, Ect.
Have a good 261 waiting to replace the 216.
This truck is fairly stock but with a few add ons. 30 gallon drum tank, 51 Nash taillights, Bullet front marker/turn lights, 30 Pontiac front bumper, 20 something Dodge rear bumper, Spot light and fog lights. Still wearing several different colors of barn paint, yet the truck is super solid and purrs good.
So just wanted to say hello and hope I can contribute some of my advice and ideas when needed! Great site and from what I can tell some good people on here!
