The A833 was originally the bullet proof cast iron Mopar muscle car 4 speed,way stronger than Muncie's.When adapted for OD use in GM trucks, the aluminum case probably reduced torque capacity a bit.I rebuilt the other A833 going in our 51 truck,the internals look very robust.
