What I need to know is where to get new seals for the input and output shafts as both leak. Is there any secrets about taking the yokes or are they just like taking the yoke off the rear of a 420.
Seals can most likely be had by finding the number on the old ones and going to NAPA or the like.
Yokes should come off like most others, remove the nut, then the yolk. You can probably put it in two gears at once to help with removing the nuts.
Some of the small parts, like shift rail seals, if your model has them, I have heard can be bought from
http://www.cranecarrier.com/ I have not called them, or confirmed this, but several people I know say that this company has either lots of surplus Spicer auxiliary transmission parts, or has been making some new parts, prices may be frightening though. If they don't have parts, perhaps they know who does, let us know what you find.
If you find some more info on the model, and it's a Spicer, then I may have a parts book, and almost sure I have a service manual, again, if it's a Spicer..
