Might also double check the timing. I got a call about a 1940 Chevy Sedan that would heat up and boil before you could back it out of the drive. Found out the owner had been tinkering with the timing and had it way too slow. Reset the timing and no more boil overs. Might not help yours, but can't hurt to check.
