welcome to the bolt. I have used the wrecking yard outside of your town there, and they were pretty decent!
In Ontario they don't generally keep records after about five years of inactivity. Go to an MOT License office and ask them what you will need. You will probably need as sworn statement at some point. I used my lawyer for that. Eventually you will need to state an amount that you paid for the truck and they will charge you GST.
