There are 5 things to check before taking a whip to your electrons. They are in order:
Browser settings - make sure your security, privacy, & content settings are not impeding access.
Scan your system for Adware & remove - sometimes the insidious little boogers sneak in & throw switches that we can't see.
Firewall - you probably use software rather than hardware for this. Check the settings thru the admin interface to make sure that the site has not become blocked for some reason.
Router - sometimes the DNS firmware can bite the big one & the first indication is the inability to access certain sites (404 page not found error). Turn your router off for at least 30 seconds, re-energize & try again.
ISP - this is the last step but if none of the above work, call your ISP & report the problem. It may be his DNS server blocking or failing to update.
Hope that helps some, shipmate. One of these things is usually the cause of the 404 error when you know the page exists and is accessible by other computers.
