Thanks Denny thats why I asked, a couple of well intentioned friends said just throw a 6 volt on it and see what happens.I know this radio is really old so I'll check around and see if any one wants it. I have no intention of installing it in my '36 so I'd like to see it go to a good home. Thanks again, Rick
