The bushing appears to be the original one and was not flush. It was tight, tight, tight. I had no room to use a slide hammer. The replacement bushing cost me $3, the tool to remove the old bushing cost me $80. The local parts store loaned me a puller but the chinese steel on the arms bent and the bushing didn't budge.
