Unfortunately, these conversions seem deceptively simple until you get into the details. There are so many little 'gotchas' with steering, axle mounting, transfer case linkages, etc. Finding a later ('58 or '59) Napco drivetrain might be an option, but since you plan to install a V8 anyway, you would be better off (easier and cheaper) finding a 1973-1987 Chevy 4x4 and put your body on it. Still a pain, but much easier. Good luck to you!
