there are re-chromers aplenty out there. The best ones will fill holes in the base metal with copper and then chrome the peice, typically 3 layer re-chroming is the best for show quailty. On the oppisite side, poor re-chroming will settle into metal scarring and bubbles can form. In the end you get what you pay for.
