Finally got around to checking on the problem with the slipping clutch on my '45 Darley 500 GPM Champion pump that's on my '65 GMC -- the clutch is completely shot. Darley will be glad to send me a rebuild kit for ... $700.
We are checking with a place in Baltimore that relines brakes to see if they can make the parts we need cheaper than that. If not, I could be in big trouble with the editor....
