The differential can be a bit tricky, too. The 4.11 gear wasn't common until the '67-'72 series 3/4-ton trucks, and even then you might have to do some looking before you find one. I had all but given up, was going to use a newer Dana 60 rear axle, but then my favorite boneyard turned up two of them at the same time.
