If it were me I would change the whole drivetrain. Perhaps I can talk him into that. Chassis Engineering has pretty much everything I need I believe. The only thing is this is a 1ton truck so I am not sure of the difference in the frame compared to a 1/2 ton . Anyway I can build my own mounts and so forth. It would be less headache to fit a 235 54-up in the truck but Ihave a 283 powerpack and thought of using it. I am still looking for the 235 If you know of one ready to go . It don't have to be newly rebuilt, just a good runner will do .
