1. What was the original color? My engine has a red valve cover and head. Head appears to be painted black. Block is black with some areas dark gray. 2. What was the original location of the oil filler cap on the valve cover? I have one cover with it near the end and another with in in the center. I assume the cap should go near the front of the engine. | | |
