Sorry, I goofed on my last post. I'll explain a little better. The cap goes in so that the domed side goes out, the dished side goes in. The cap is then tapped down slightly to put pressure on it to make it lock into place and seal. Then it's staked in 4 places (a center punch works great) to lock it in perminantly.
