This only seems to happen at busy intersections. To restart I have to pull out choke, hold down accelerator and crank. And crank. So far, so good.
The truck runs fine at lower speeds, but if I have been at high speed and come to a light, it stalls. If I pull out choke a bit as I approach the light, the idle goes way up and it doesn't stall.
So, is the carb adjusted too lean? Idle too low? Something else? Any suggestions appreciated.
BTW it's a 47 Chevy 1 ton with a 235 and a Carter YP (I think).
