The rain let up after I got home from work tonight, and a buddy showed up out of the blue, so I decided he could get his hands greasy just as easily as I could.. so I put him to work. Together, after some effort (and forcing the "frozen" adjusters to turn a little more with the aid of a hammer/screwdriver.. completely his idea
) The old hub came right off! Replaced some parts and now all I have to do is bleed the brakes, and I should have brakes again
Many, many thanks to everyone who posted ideas. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I was beginning to envision.
