Just a suggestion....with my past experience with DMV's, I would think twice about calling to their attention, a mistake on their part. If your truck is titled, registered and insured as a 1965 1/2 ton with the correct Vin number, I'd let "sleeping dogs lie".
If a question was ever raised (which it won't be) about the "LUV" you could just take "Builders" cue and just flash a big smile!
I've found the less info you share with DMV gets you out the door quicker!
