Installed new pilot bushing(brass)in a '62 235 CI while replacing clutch, pressure plate, TO etc. Drove brass pilot bushing in with big wooden dowel so not to damage. Bushing seems to have deformed at engine end of bushing and transmission shaft did not want to go in easily. Picked up new pilot bushing but did not notice until getting home that this one is steel. Does it make any difference which is used assuming that I lube the steel one, but not the brass type. Thanks
