I'm getting ready to rebuild the hinges on the driver door of my 51 3100, and of course the pins are rusted into the hinge. What is the best way of removing the pins? I saw in a previous post someone recommended to heat the hinge, and pound the pin out. How hot do you get the hinge? Is a soldering torch hot enough? Do you try to hammer the pin out while it is hot, or does the heating and cooling loosen it?
Thanks for any help
