This question pertains to the "division bar insert" for my '54:
The new metal/rubber/whisker assembly is supposed to be inserted into the division bar channel. That channel has a metal "insert" riveted to it. Does that insert (held in by about 8 rivets) come out first, or does the new assembly get crammed into it? I've searched for related topics but I can't find this specific one addressed. Thanks for any info.
