well here is the update. after i asked this question , i went and beat the crap out of with a 3lb. hammer after it moved a little bit a ballpeen took it out just fine. believe it or not the pin looks good. on the 53 barn door hinge it has a trim cover to pretty up the hinge that is spot welded in 4 places. once i got that off i laid about 20 1 1/2" passes on the hinge bracket where it was just about rusted through.I ground it down and it looks pretty dang good if i have to say so myself any how thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!tom
