Down2sea...Yes, an accessory radio was available for 41-46 1/2T PUs ( I actually cofirmed that fact in an old Chevy accessory pamphlet...'41 has a chrome face and '42 -'47 have a plastic face). I've seen several pics with the radio mounted (It goes to the left of the steering wheel under the dash), however, I've seen the antenna mounted on either side of the truck and at different heights...hence the question. If you're interested I can send you pics of the radios.
